It’s been a lengthy of years since I haven’t ride on a kalesa, and it was a great experience I had why? Because it make me realize the unseen beauty of manila which I myself is living in the Philippines yet don’t value it much plus it grant me knew familiarity, information and awareness about some historical places in manila particularly at intramuros which I need to be familiar with coz I will be there spending my 4 years of my life coz it is where my school is set and for your information manong says intra means inside and muros means wall so intramuros revenue inside wall or within wall coz obviously it is surrounded by walls LOLS manong also says intramuros is the only manila before which verify as a 67 hectares NAKS! Haha
To start up the incident the tour begin at the front of San Agustin church which is the oldest church in the Philippines, kaya pala maraming nagpapakasal doon coz it was very historical then the second oldest is the manila cathedral kung saan binurol si tita cory and nilibing si cardinal sin and for your information manila cathedral had been restored for 6 times and the very first structure of the church is made from kawayan! I wonder what it looks like before But now the church is very impressive with its magnificent style and along with there are 7 church before only those church remain at the present and aside from that I also discovered that our current school Lyceum University of the Philippines is the largest hospital before in manila where many of the laid up Japanese who fought at the war was cured but still some also died GOSH! Natakot tuloy ako sa school nmen! HAHA manong kasi eh. other than that it so funny to think that the canteens at the walls or the parian are the jails before! HAHA next have you observed those cracks and holes in the wall? Manong says it’s the mark of their guns and canons during the war then I also found out that the PLM pamantang ng Lungsod ng Maynila is the Jesuits compound tirahan ng mga pare then across of it is the compound of the sisters before which is now the light and sound museum then manong says there is an underground across those compounds where they do some gathering pero manong exactly says "doon ngiinuman yong mga madre at pare before! HAHA" aside from that I also found out that the ECG building is the adamson university before the the ateneo before take place behind the clam shell while the Ust before is now the building of Banco Filipino and in front of that is the Sto. Domingo church before hmm what else? HAHA then I found out that the park where we take a rest before is the “Plaza de la Fuerza” yun pala name noon and terrifying to know that doon pala nakalibing yung mga nasawi sa war before! That is why the sculpture stand to illustrates those people Then now I know where the foot prints of Dr. Jose Rizal could be spotted its only right beside the manila cathedral But actually the foot prints started at fort Santiago then have you seen the “Palacio del Gobernador” well it was the gobernador’s place before parang malacanang at the present the only difference is they call their leader before as gobenador and lastly the trip ended at the oldest house in intramuros which is known as the Casa Manila, where manong says there were 9 families living there before then until now the traditional furniture is still preserved there! It’s now a museum 50 pesos entrance! HAHA I hope you enjoy those facts I’ve shared HAHA. Parang nabitin kami after the tour at parang ayaw na namin bumaba ng kalesa! Kasi ang sarap ng feeling pagnakasakay ka doon! HAYS wish I could make it again soon feel free to approach me, basta libre neo ako! HAHA joke! Kelvin HAHA my utang ka pa samin! HAHA peace! Super nice experience thanks to Rambo! (The horse) HAHA and of course thanks for the fine points manong! HAHAHA ..
After the kalesa tour around the intramuros, I guess our going around doesn’t satisfy our eyes yet HAHA or let’s just say we wanted to go somewhere else, after that formal tour with the kalesa another tour at bahay ni lola just kidding! Actually the place name as “bodegas de intramuros“ with the two guards it could be found at casa manila (grabe naloka ako sa guard kung anuanu pinagssbe! HAHA nkktawa tlga!) They have showed us around those old-fashioned stuffs like dress, the bed and loads of dolls! And lots of type of chairs Nakakatakot! Kinilabutan daw sila ! haha :]] pero nakakatuwa naman yung guards try to visit it no entrance fee :] well I presume that’s all, so much for now just glimpse here again next time for another promenade knowledge LOLS haha just kidding! …
Saya saya! Making it happen with joyce, rea, charlyn and the only thorn again Kelvin! HAHA thanks for the time I really enjoy it!
ILY:)
by the way i wanted to share to you what my zodiac sign says.. "You are getting a deep and meaningful appreciation for someone you used to dislike." and for detail "Going shopping today? Then stop off at used furniture, vintage clothing or antique store rather than the mall. An undiscovered gem is waiting to be found, and your mind is in just the right place to discover it today. You have the ability to understand the true value of something that no one else appreciates. Turn away from the flashy and the new. Instead, look for something weathered and old -- find something that has a story to tell and integrate it into your life." (It may sound ridiculous but sometimes i do believe in zodiac signs! HAHA and i guess the blog post of "single lady and evoking the inside wall" is what my zodiac sign is implying) ...
